Inshore lifeboat ‘Buster’ were tasked at 1721 on Saturday 6 February by the UK Coastguard in response to report of lights being seen on Grain Tower.
Launching at 1736 with a crew of three the Lifeboat was on scene at 5.40pm where they made contact with three people fishing and who confirmed they were happy to remain on the Tower until the next low water.
The Lifeboat was stood down at 1743 after taking the contact details of the three persons to hand over to the UK Coastguard for safety reasons.
The lifeboat returned to station at 1750 and was made ready for further service. NE 5
