Inshore lifeboat tasked at 0646 to person reported in the water at Rochester Bridge, holding onto a lifebuoy. Inshore lifeboat launched at 0703 and proceeding at best speed to casualty, Medway CRT proceeding along with Kent Fire & Rescue. ILB was stood down at 0712, Person confirmed to have been recovered from the water and safe ashore. ILB returned to station at 0721, ready for service at 0740. SW 3.

UKCG requested ALB launch to 36ft Yacht aground near Darnettness. After discussion with UKCG / DLA and Coxswain, it was decided to launch the ILB to investigate yacht due to the tidal conditions on scene, (L.W 14:04). ILB launched at 1355, arriving on scene at 1414, the ILB attempted to tow the vessel clear, but was hard aground, the ILB crew deployed the casualties anchor, although the vessel had a single keel, it was sitting upright and was estimated to refloat in approx 2 hours, the two persons onboard were happy to remain and await the tide and then proceed on on their passage. The ILB was released at 1431, returning to station at 1450, ready for service at 1517. SW 4.
