All weather lifeboat launched at 1655 in response to a Pan Pan call from a 15mtr Belgium yacht with machinery and sail failure, 4 persons on board, position just South of the Shivering Sand Towers, another yacht was standing by the casualty and relaying VHF communications. ALB on scene at 1740, a crewman was placed on board and the craft was safely under tow at 1745. The casualty craft was towed to Queenborough Harbour, where it was secured at 1940, ALB returned to station and ready for service at 2025. SW 5/6.

Inshore lifeboat launched at 2205 to a report of a Jet Ski possibly in trouble at the eastern end of Minster Leas, the ILB commenced a search of area, with nothing immediately found, the ALB was launched at 2315 to widen the search, both lifeboats carried out an extensive search of the area. With nothing untoward found, both lifeboats returned to station and were ready for service at 0230. NW 3/4.

Inshore lifeboat launched at 1318 to a Jet Ski broken down and aground in Horse Reach in the Swale, 2 persons on board. ILB located the casualty, a towline was passed and the Jet Ski with the two persons on board, was towed back to the causeway in Queenborough harbour, where it was recovered to its trailer. Both person were checked out by Ambulance crew. ILB returned to station at 1523. SW 4/5.

Inshore lifeboat launched at 1428 to report from UKCG of a female Kayaker reported missing from Gillingham area, last seen paddling upriver and now out of sight. ILB arrived in area at 1505, commencing search of river. The ILB located an empty kayak, West of Port Werburgh, shortly after the kayaker was found safe and well on a workboat, the person was transferred to the ILB and person and kayak landed ashore at Gillingham Pier to Medway CG. ILB returned to station at 1605. NW 3.

Inshore lifeboat launched at 1918 to report of person walking out into the water off Minster. ILB on scene at 1930, but due to Low Water, the ILB could not get close to the person, 2 crew walked ashore and liaised with Sheppey CRT, person okay and was out gathering cockles. ILB crew returned to the boat and ILB back on station at 1958. Estly 1.

Inshore lifeboat launched at 0708 to report of person in the water at Rochester under bridge. ILB proceeded at best speed, Medway CRT and Rescue 163 helicopter also tasked. ILB advised that person had been recovered from the water by local fishing boat, ILB arrived on scene as person was being landed ashore at Rochester Esplanade to SECAMB Ambulance. ILB returned to station at 0820. Easterly 4.

All weather lifeboat launched at 1000 to a small 20ft Motorboat with broken gearbox, 2 persons on board, craft at anchor just to the South of the East Cant Buoy. ALB arrived on scene and established a tow, both persons okay, the craft although from Shoebury, was towed back to the safety of Queenborough Harbour, where it was secured at 1150. Lifeboat returned to station at 1200. ENE 4.
