Inshore lifeboat launched at 0008 to report of person stuck in the mud near Warden Point in the area of Jetty road, Whitstable lifeboat also proceeding. It was confirmed that the person had been recovered and was in care of Kent Ambulance service just prior to the arrival of the ILB, but the UKCG reported that a second person may be involved, both Lifeboat and CG teams carried out a shoreline search before being stood down at 0107. The ILB returned to station at 0144. SSE 2.
With no other craft in vicinity to assist, the Inshore lifeboat was launched at 1755 to a 26ft Open Fishing Boat, broken down in Limehouse Reach, Rochester,River Medway, 4 persons on board. The ILB arrived on scene and towed the craft to a safe berth on the pontoons at Strood Yacht Club, the 4 occupants all okay. ILB returned to station at 2010. Northerly 5/6.
