Inshore lifeboat launched at 1518 to small day boat broken down off Minster Shingle bank, 2 persons on board. ILB duly arrived on scene and towed the craft back to the launch ramp at the shingle bank, where they were met by Sheppey CG. ILB returned to station at 1555. Southerly 4/5.
All weather lifeboat launched at 1734 to report of a 50ft Craft broken down and at anchor with 3 persons and 1 dog on board off Barton’s Point. ALB on scene at 1745, craft was in fact a 15ft Dayboat, which had launched from the sailing club, craft taken under tow to Queenborough, where it was secured on the all tide landing. ALB returned to station at 1850. SSW 4/5.
With no other craft in vicinity to assist, the Inshore lifeboat was launched at 1755 to a 26ft Open Fishing Boat, broken down in Limehouse Reach, Rochester,River Medway, 4 persons on board. The ILB arrived on scene and towed the craft to a safe berth on the pontoons at Strood Yacht Club, the 4 occupants all okay. ILB returned to station at 2010. Northerly 5/6.
