Inshore lifeboat launched at 1744 to report of craft aground on Nore Marsh in the River Medway, unknown if anyone on board. ILB in area of marsh at 1814, due to tide, the crew would have to walk across very soft mud to reach marsh, due to this fact and after discussion with UKCG, Southend Hovercraft was tasked to assist. Once on scene, two crew from ILB were transferred to hovercraft and taken across to marsh, once on scene with the craft, it was found to be in a derelict condition and been there for some time, with no persons involved, the ILB and hovercraft were released.
