All weather lifeboat launched at 2125 to a report of a vessel on fire approx. 6 miles off of Leysdown on a bearing towards the Kentish Wind farm, ALB made best speed to the area on the Western edge of the windfarm, nothing seen visually, with further info from Sheppey Cg, that they could still see a “Glow” in that direction, it was ascertained, that they were looking a the glow of a vessel’s working decklights in the Princes channel. With the UKCG confident, that no craft were in distress, the ALB was released along with Whitstable lifeboat. ALB returned to station at 2310. SW 4/5.
