Sheerness inshore lifeboat was tasked by the UK Coastguard at 1548 on Thursday 16 July to respond to reports of a male on a vessel in Chatham Reach, River Medway, with a medical issue.
Launching at 1601 with a crew of 3 onboard and making best speed the ILB was on scene at 1628. The man subsequently confirmed to the crew that he had his required medication and was content to remain on his vessel.
The ILB was released from the incident at 1630 , returned to station at 1700 and was ready for service at 1715 after having been re-fuelled and made ready for service. NW 2/3.
