Inshore lifeboat launched at 2312 on Tuesday 15 September after being tasked by the UK Coastguard to reports of an 18 foot craft with a 60yr old man onboard that had lost power and was drifting in the vicinity of Whitewall Creek opposite the Chatham Historic Dockyard.
Having launched with a crew of three the lifeboat located the casualty at 2341. A towline was attached and the vessel was towed to safety further along the creek.
