Inshore lifeboat launched at 1530 on Tuesday 15 October after being tasked by the UK Coastguard to a 26′ motorboat with three men onboard,reported as possibly aground after leaving Mariners Farm boatyard (lower Rainham Rd).The ILB located the craft at 1550 high and dry on the south side of Nore Marsh. An anchor was deployed to secure the craft and the three men were taken onboard the lifeboat and ferried to Gillingham Strand where they were handed into the care of the Medway Coastguard Rescue team.
The ILB was stood down at 1628,back on station at 1700 and made ready for further service at 1728.
